A poem about the storm called life
Hail and rain surround
Leaves rustle and wind howls
The dark sepulchre hovers over
I walk my way wet and ponder

Shattering skies with thump and thunder
Crunch and echoes of plunder
The grim moment lingers
I walk my way wet and ponder

Saps and foliage set to direr oblivion
Sans mirth sans everything
The time seems to forget the moment
I walk my way wet and ponder

Morbid and murky as it seems
Clouds dancing on surge of wind
Morose strain fills the vale profound
I walk my way wet and ponder

There are miles yet to be trodden.
Elusive desires and dreams creeping in,
The walk continues amidst the storm,
For miles remain yet to be trodden
