Companion to The Golden One...written last night while working
She said leave
I tried to obey
I would have listened
Had She said stay

Her dark eyes glimmered
How Her skin did shine
Her hair shimmered
In the in-between time

Falling down around her waist
Oh the moon lit glow
Cast upon Her wondrous face
How the sensations from Her did flow

Basking in Her glory
I could hardly catch my breath
At the end of the story
I wondered what I would have left

She continued to speak
All I could do was stare
My knees did go weak
When darkness filled the air

The sky started to rumble
Lightning threatened to strike
My resolve did not crumble
I did not relinquish the fight

I told Her I could not leave
That I had to stay
She said She would grant a reprieve
If I truly felt that way

Sitting next to Her by the fire
I could feel it resonate
Feel Her heat,Her power--dire
Finally I did start to shake

I started to question my decision
Truly I started to doubt
Then decided to trust my intuition
And squelched the inside shout

That is when She said
"You are mine. You belong to me."
Slowly I turned my head
Finally seeing Her in all Her glory

Standing before me
In all Her might
For all to see....
Never shall I forget that sight.

That is when She did turn
To look me in the eye
How those eyes of Hers did burn
As She said, "Come to Me'"
