A poem about how depression eats away at you
         
Have you ever felt
like something was sucking
the life out of you?

I have,
I call it the Beast.
The Beast eats away at me.

Have you ever never
wanted to get out
of bed?

I have,
I blame the Beast.
The Beast eats away at me.

Have you ever
wanted to harm yourself
just to relieve the pain?

I have,
I am told to cut
cut deep by the beast.
The Beast eats away at me.

I cant get it to go away.
I deal with it ever minute
of everyday.
It will eat and eat
til theres nothing left of me.
