My first poem ever. A poem about loss of innocence and the darker side of the human mind.
This is insanity

He is my best friend

And as long as I'm in this cell

He'll be with me till the end

This is mental balance

My worst enemy

And even though I hate him so

He's in all that I know and in all that I see

In all that I know and in all that I see

Life is long and weary

And is out to get me

Praecoxian dementia wonderland.

And I stand. Oh, I stand.

Under a canopy of rabid fleas and black debris of memories of willow trees and far away laughs of a family jubilee.

In all that I know and in all that I see.

What went wrong?

I used to belong.

What went wrong?

I used to belong.

What happened to me?

What happened to me?

In all that I know and in all that I see.
