Divorce...
DIVORCE

Divorce and trauma.
Bitter melodrama.
Questions of who I am.
Answers for questioned demands.

Where did all the years go?
And the answers I use to know?
Caught up in life so fast.
Now falling into the past.

Walking only to stumble.
Fighting not to crumble.
Self-esteem recently eroded.
Inner beauty seems corroded.

Dignity and hope appear lost.
Understanding by painful cost.
Strength of will fights the gloom.
Gathering in this empty littered room.
