Was I born a mistake?
MY BRAIN

What happened to my
brain
while I was
being knitted, fearfully
and wonderfully
made,
in the womb?
Did it miss the
needle?
Did God run out of
yarn?
Did it scream in terror
and run off
somewhere?
Did it burrow under
the cover of sanity and
hide?
Did it fall off a
cliff
and lame itself
somehow?
