A poem I wrote when I was 18
I was coming home from work one night on the midnigh train, when I looked into the windows reflection and saw this girl.

I see her every night but, on this particular night she causght my attention.

She had astonishing dark brown eyes, child baring thighs, with breasts made to be fed from.

Yet the life of her world dies with the dying sun.

And she smiles.

Her mind is filled with fatuous feelings, feasible thoughts, frustrations and furious aggravations.

And she smiles.

As my journey from work had come to and end, I looked closely into the reflection of the girl and seen tears...tears of joy. So I reached into my purse and pulled out a tissue to ship my eyes. Not because my journey of work ws now at an end but, because I am now a woman and I see an end to my new beginning of life.

And still...I smile.
