my dad's thoughts about when he jumped out of a plane in the army.
I look down below at the passing land
With a deep breath, I step off and out of the plane
I love the rushing of the wind in my hair
The feeling of flight could make anyone insane

This is it. If I fell, it would all be over
There are no more chances to chicken out
I feel so alive and free right now
I guess this is the feeling skydivers talk about

I look down, time to pull my chute
Reaching over, I tug the large cord at my side
The parachute deploys and I slowly glide down
Now all that's left is the enjoy the ride
