Paradise, just a bridge away
I watch from my side of the stream,
Such happiness beyond my reach.
When will it be my turn to go?

I wait so sad and all alone.
Paradise, just a bridge away.
I am lost and want to go home,
and here is all strangers to me.

The first step is the hardest one,
and I don't have the strength to go.
