A poem about the tribulations of daily life.
forgotten about the sorrow
that lies buried in our hearts
we're victims of the morrow
reshowing us the dark

if words could make us bend
the pain would make us break
though life without an end
is not a life, but fake

we stand for a reason
and hold from dispair
though hope is a treason
against all that is fair

lessons from an evil
born within our souls
showing us that people
are never truly whole

when surviving is the purpose
for why we all exist
courage is portentous
for those who subsist

death is the future
all people share
the one thing that's sure
that people seem to fear
