Just a short, simple poem based around a dream I had.
I dreamt he danced with me last night;
His soft touch against my cheek,
His velvet lips against my skin,
His crisp white shirt and polished black shoes,
My royal blue dress, flowing round my ankles.
As he span me round and round
And I laughed in pure elation
And cried as I woke to the cold, empty room.
