What is the difference? Life or fire?
Driving power put into creating it's life.
A force pushing toward an explosion of light
Quick brutal snapping focusing it from ice.
An all consuming hunger, on the edge of a vice
Sweet nectar feeding the strength and giving wonder a rise.
So much movement, so many lives.
Color and sound, faint taste gone awry.
Rising again the hunger it spins
Sated and needs abated illumination unfolds.
Grit of sand and grind of wood
Whimsical nothing so pure and good.
A stumble to the top.
Leaning and lurching one wonder is lost.
Speed beyond thought, movement no thought
Engulfing and absorbing, growing as the wind is blowing
Strength of kings, tempered by man with confusion.
Earth born and Earth bound, winds of universal sound.
Throud sound needs are made clear
Tossing and turning the end has drawn near
Sleep of a child like a coal has known no fear
Bright light dulls both sight and coals.
Curling in search of warmth, all else is lost
Darkness engulfs, light is embossed.
