This is about a friend unknowingly judging you
I thought you were different,
I thought we were friends.
You talk about them down the street,
All their problems that you see.
Don't you know?  I was like them too.

I guess you aren't different,
I guess we aren't friends.
You teach me something new each visit,
Who did what and how they're messing up.
Don't you know?  I messed up too.

I wish you were different,
I wish we were friends.
You say you wouldn't tolerate it,
And you could never understand it.
Don't you know?  I did it too.

I hope you can be different,
I hope we can be friends.
What will it take for you to stop judging?
What will it take to open your eyes? Because,
Don't you know?  You're judging me too.
