A dream I had.
We sat together on the lake shore late at night.
You held me;
Gently brushing your fingers across my arm and laughing when goosebumps form.
When I look into your big shining eyes I see love, sadness and mysteriousness.
Maybe the stars make your eyes shine and the darkness of the night creates the mystery,
But the love and sadness can not be created by the night sky.

Both of us gave few glances toward the the house behind us,
Afraid my parents would wake up.
At the sametime we barely remembered that they even existed.
The thrill of being out late and breaking the rules.

When I look at the moon I think back to those nights,
The night where we would hold each other, barely saying a word.
Or the nights where your lips would softly touch mine.
While the tears slowly fall,
I think of the nights we would sit together on the lake shore.
