My nights.
Every night I try to sleep.
I pray for a dreamless night.
You see when I fall asleep I slip into a whole new word;
An unforgiving, pleasant, terrifying, lonely or loving world.
I've seen everything;
Life, death, love, sex, suicide, funerals, weddings, blood, pregnancy;
You name it, I can tell you about it.
Everyone wonders why I understand what everyone is going through.
If only they knew that I had to wake up crying, sweating, screaming or shaking in order to understand.
It is true, in some cases that is not so bad compared to the real deal.
Try to see it through my eyes.
If you woke up thinking your mother was dead on the kitchen floor or your dad was murdered for something he didn't do;
Wouldn't you be scared?
Yeah, some of my dreams are ridiculous where people fly but when the dreams feel that real;
Those flying people are really here to stay.
