I wrote this poem, in 8th grade, to inspire people who have missing children.
Going inside for a minute,
turning around she's gone.

Looking at faces,
seeing tears in their eyes.

As they cry,
a month goes by.

Detectives and friends,
helping to the end.

Praying for her to come.

Looking at my mom,
tears in her eyes.
Makes me want to cry.

Waiting for that special call,
not one word I hear at all.

Finally the call comes,
saying she's safe in his care!

Yelling, "Where shes at?"
as my mom starts to clap.

Joy fills our eyes as she starts to cry,
because she's coming back.
