That which creates life can also destroy.
Every drop of water
Flowing above, below, around,
Pushes, pulls me down
Like hands, strong, gentle--
An iron grip, a soft breeze.

Every drop of water,
Swirling above, below, around,
Creates, destroys spots of light,
My eyes blind, clear--
A spot red, a spot white.

Every drop of water
Rushes above, below, around,
Tearing, mending my lungs
With fire thirsty, unquenchable--
A liquid flame, a cooling elixir.

Every drop of water
Above, below, around,
Pushes, pulls,
Creates, destroys,
Tears, mends--
One's life, my end.
