A poem about spring that I wrote for a school assignment...
Winter is over and spring has sprung
Good-bye snowstorms and hello sun
And though there are always some days of gloom
These days soon bring many flowers that bloom

Lilacs, roses, and orchids too
Colors ranging from yellow to blue
Birds and bees are buzzing in the trees
The after rain smells are floating in the breeze

The grass is damp and the soil is all mud
And the streets look as if they are going to flood
But then the sun comes up and everything is dry
And there's even a rainbow found in the sky

They say the season of love is spring
Will it be true love or be just a fling
Is love a flower that hasn't yet bloomed
Or is it like Romeo and Juliet's. strong but yet doomed
