A poem based on romeo and juliet
Todays my best friends' birthday,

She really is someone I rate,

But, she knows some other people,

Of which my family hate.

I've come back from her party,

There was a boy I quite liked there,

He looked at me all evening,

And all I could do was stare.

He's just said he loves me,

I know I do aswell,

But he's from the opposition,

I'll end up in a cell.

Now this little romance,

Has turned to something more,

But, were not allowed to be together,

And he's someone I adore.

He wants us to get married,

I really want to too,

But, I can't go against my family,

What am I gunna do?

This forbidden romance,

This very secret love,

Is not allowed to happen,

And is frowned upon above.

I've finally made my decision,

I'm commiting myself to him,

But, it will have to be a secret,

And cannot have a hymn.

I'm married to a boy,

He's not a man just yet,

But soon will be his birthday,

A day I'll never forgett.

It's the night before his birthday,

He will be twenty-one,

We're in our secret hide out,

In the corner is someone.

The figure stood beside us,

He pulls down his hood,

It's my farther under the cloak,

We've not been misunderstood.

My husband looks so worried,

And has a gun against his head,

My farther pulls the trigger

He's just been shot, he's dead.

I'm screaming at my farther,

He turns and walks away,

But has left his gun on the floor,

He will suffer for his betray.

The gun's against my chest,

Pointing towards my heart,

My farther's beging me not to,

My heart will soon depart.
