This is for the star gazers and day dreamers.
The labor seemed like a lifetime
There would be no birth
No, not until all of the earth was aligned
in chronological order.

I waited patiently
The moon was bright
But before any passing through the constellations
I must be cradled and covered with moon dust
this was my foundation

The stars paraded around
The sign went forth in the sky
The labor pains were stronger, it was time
and so the birth began

The serpent was my whip and water was my prey
The journey started
At the speed of light I rode a comet
Down to the depths of the deep where water and earth
had no boundary I was transformed

I would penetrate the back of a whale until it surfaced
Indeed it would come forth and spew me into the sand

When my moment came
Indeed I was mortal
But to those who dared look close
I was something far more greater than what the natural
eye could see

This is my title
I ring it proud and true

I am mother of the zodiac
The serpent has made me vain
Water is the true source of my strength
I have been ordained (despite my moods)
I............AM....................CANCER
