Moments mould the passing of time
One moment can last forever
Wanton neglect is mine
Time has no meaning
No ticking of our clock
Time has no feeling
Until jolted by natures shock
The sunrise in all its beauty
Bittersweet heralds the dawn
Appearing regimental in its duty
To this timeless moment
An unwelcome shape and form
Feelings of devastation
As realisation rushes to the fore
Our timeless moment has left us
Now gone forevermore
