It's a poem that I wrote about a dream I once had.
Into the darkness I go.
Down a spiraling staircase of despair.
No one sees me, and if they do they don’t help
Deeper and deeper I go, knowing that there is no return.

The deeper I go, the less I sense.
The deeper I go the colder it gets, my hands are numb
The more I go down the darker it gets. All I see is a sliver of silver moonlight dancing in the air.
The darker and colder It gets the more time I spend in there, the more I believe I have made the right decision.

Five, four, three, steps to go
I rest at the second and say my silent good-byes
I count to three and hold my breath as I step to the final step.
Above I hear a sweet and angelic voice, the one of a winged seraph.

I look up and see him.
He has white, feathery wings.
He smiles and says “I’m here to help you”
“I love you and I always have, don’t do this to your self”

Then I wake up
To the tears on my face
If only you were real
If you could be here to stop me.
