Can you see beyond what is really there?
Silence with a Hint of Vulnerability

I strain to realize your identity.
I feel as if I had created that blank look in your eyes.
You stare out into the window.
I try to see
Try to imagine.
But I can't help but feel shame.

I try to revive you, but you stand your guard.
I shake you from your frozen life.
You stare away from me.
I cry to the midnight moon.
Maybe it might realize my want.
My dream.

You confuse me.
I can't figure you out because you are complicated.
I turn towards the truth but you bend it around.
I feel distant.
As if I can never reach your mind.
Your mind that is filled with thoughts,
feelings,
emotions.

But hopefully I will figure out that I have been loyal.
Brave to your softening soul.
But yet I feel as if that day will never come.
