A poem inspired by a dream I had.

Would you be my perfect disaster?
Every time I see you, feel you, walk with you
I am lost and that much more lonely
but still make my heart beat that much faster

The walls cave in, I'm buried in this plaster
the dust of the lonely house I dreamt
burnt in memory; overlooking the sea...
Will you be my only disaster? These shadows haunt us.

Walk with me as the sun sets.

Together, we're still not going to find it.
I think you are the perfect disaster...

I'm a mouse in this trap
broke, bleeding, barely breathing
I'll cry and hold you; Please be whole
It's such a lonely disaster

Weeping for the mouse, the house cries empty
and this is my perfect disaster
