Short poem about arguing with a friend.
It's like walking on eggshells,
Biting on glass,
With your tongue bleeding,
Holding your breath to prevent the truth slipping out.
Standing strong, patiently,
Like the fool that you are,
With a knife twisted through your heart,
and yet you stand there and
take it, to protect her,
because that's just who you are.
