a poem on how my life was I was twelve
MOVING ON


Last year I was twelve - and really quite old
But now I am thirdteeen- and not nearly so bold

Last year I was twelve - and really quite tall
But now I am thirdteen - and feel rather small

Last year I was the queen - or at least a princess
But now I'm just me - a bit of a mess

Last year I was head of the house
But now I'm just me - a little meek mouse

Last year I had finished - my work was all done
But now I must start - my work's just begun
