Love never dies
In and out of consciousness,

tossing & turning in my sleep

I have no hunger to eat

because the pain scare me too deep

tears roll down my face

as I hold myself and forcefully pace

at the sure knowledge that she is in my place

she is touching you...

she is holding you...

she is kissing you...

but I am the one still loving you...

memories of our happiness

smiling at your sexiness and finesse

intoxicating images making my head a mess

words from late night conversations

clearing through many hesitations

personalities clicking, creating motivation

I tear apart inside from the harsh deprivation

she is touching you...

she is holding you...

she is kissing you...

but I am the one still loving you...

staring at old photos, tokens from the past

the love that started right but ended so fast

we sat and agreed we would fight to make it last

now you leave and sleep in her bed

and leave me lonely and questioning thoughts within my head

i'm feeling betrayed and deceived because you have fled

my heart beats to the silence of a love that is now dead

she is touching you...

she is holding you...

she is kissing you..

but I am the one still loving you...
