Inspired by music I composed that reminded me of a train. From that came these lyrics.
The Train.

The morning light is coming down
Hear the train? It's rolling on for you

The bag is packed, the rest is left
by the table where we used to sit
she stops and cries

This town, It's not the one for me
The city's lights are fading faster than my dreams
This love, It's not the one for me
Somewhere far away from here is where I'll be
I'm takin the train

The morning light's still coming down
Hear the train? It's rolling on but you,
your not here

Clothes were packed, a note was left
on the table where we used to sit
He stops and reads.

This town, It's not the one for me
The city's light are fading faster than my dreams
This love, It's not the one for me
Somewhere far away from here is where I'll be
I'm takin the train

He slammed the door and towards the west
he saw the train, It's slowing down for you
And then he ran

This town, It's the one for you
The city's lights will shine tonight and you will too
This love, It's the one for you.
We'll get away and watch our dreams come true
Don't take the train

The morning light is on the town
I see the train It's rolling fast for you.

She took the train
