Am I just a ghost
of what was and what could never be
a memory at most
where being lost has become reality

Am I so disturbed
the past is the bigger part of me
my reason to preserve
what lingers in my mind has imprisioned me

Am I just a ghost
wandering these empty halls
year after year engrossed
longing to hear his call

Am I so demented
dreaming that he too would imprisoned stay
my own leaving I've prevented
holding what time can not steal away
