Fights are fights, life is life... can things be forgiven and begin again?
Tell me the thoughts running through your head
Maybe I’ll be able to clear them before bed.
Your smile shows me nothing more, put it away.
Your eyes tell your story a different way
I know things have been rough for us
But please talk and end this big fuss
I need you more than ever right now
Your eyes show you not there and I’m not sure how
I miss the rainy picnics and fairytale nights
I need you back here away from the lights
Things have changed deeply for me
But knowing you, you’ll never see
You’re never here anymore
In your eyes I can see I make you sore
You’ll let me get away and never know it
I can’t believe how much you’ll quit
We used to be so beautiful together
But each moment flew away like a feather
I watch you sit up  at night alone
Staring at the wall showing the distance we’ve grown
I miss your laugh in midday
And how sweet each word was you would say
I miss the sly games you’d win
And now it’s all in the trash bin
Today you told me to leave
And got angry with my sigh of relive
My fairytale ending is over today
And I left you with no words to say
I sit outside on the sidewalk
Hoping you’d come for one more talk
Your eyes lay upon my back
I turn and stare, words we lack
I no longer miss the way you were
And your feelings aren’t such a blur
Our memories now remain
As time we lost we regain.
