In life we sometimes forget what it is like to see the world as a child does.
Oh to see the world with innocent eyes,
What I would give to witness that!
Where every turn there is a new surprise,
An unknowing challenge to combat.

When laughter is the song we sing
When simple is all that matters
Where life is just an easy thing
Before responsibility ends with scatters.

When you navigate life by testing the world
Instead of navigating the world by life testing you.
The important thing is being on the swing twirled
Or in an imaginary place where you flew.

When grass can never grow too high
When rain can never be too wet
Before we know what it means to die
Before we know what it means to be a threat.

There are no limits on what we see,
Imagination intertwined everywhere.
Dreams are a never ending possibility
Everything in life seems fair.

How things would completely change,
When we look through innocent eyes.
It would be so simple and so strange,
But the opportunity would be a prize.

So when responsibility gets you down,
When cares get to be too much,
Simply take a look around,
And for once let innocence be your crutch.
