Dwelling in the sadness of no longer being loved
No longer do you love me
and this I know too well;
I sleep alone every night
by myself I'm left to dwell.

I dwell about the past
when you and I were we;
when our love was oh, so strong,
back where I long to be.

You used to hold my hand in yours;
your skin felt good on mine;
thinking back to your sweet touch
sends shivers down my spine.

Snugly embraced in your strong arms
nothing else can quite compare;
whispering softly into my ear;
running your fingers through my hair.

Do these memories ever cross your mind
or are they obsolete?
I need you in my life again
for your love makes me complete.
