short poem on the danger of lies coming back to haunt you
Oh how slippery they can be-
those cold, forgotten memories.

Time has covered up
what haunts what you dream of

Trapped under a snow drift-
it still hinders my existence.

Just when you think you are safe,
they will come and take it all away.
