Sometimes I wish....
Three seats were left,
two were covered by feet,
but that one in the middle I ran to so I that I could not get beat

But once I got there.
I was only to find out
that everyone was looking at me with some form of doubt.

The seat was taken I understood that.
Although something that I did and do not recognize
is why I was a tissue and then no longer a prize?

I just wanted a friend.
Who I can trust with whatever.
But what I had was friends happily never.

I was used.
Then thrown away.
Why for friends must I pay?

When you needed me
I was always there for you.
But why weren't you ever there for me too?

You did not really need to comprehend
just sit there and listen.
So I could tell you what was happening in my life that you were missin'.

Not only could you not do that.
But there wasn't even a seat at lunch for me today.
But next time when you need me it will be you who must pay.
