Standing alone near the wall,

Barely leaning against it,

'Oh,' I said, staring, 'Oh,

What kind of mischief are you aiming for?

If it'll pass the time, I'm in.

I'm in.'

Scuffed;

I was brushed off and sent away.

Their plans had meaning, and I, was just asking for a waste.

(Just something to do today.)

I wasn't up for being attached,

Or for believing in their cause.

I just wanted something to do today.
