The pure white of her dress
glowed in the sun light
It was a lie, but still it shined.
Ooh "Ubi tu Gaius ego Gaia"
She sang under her breath.
"Ubi tu Gaius ego Gaia.
In her dressing room
She repeated her vows
Over and Over
"Ubi tu Gaius ego Gaia"

"So simple," she thought
"So sweet."
But she'd never get to say them aloud,
Would she now?
Ooh, no.
The world had other plans for her,
And for this place.
(This place)
Ubi tu Gaius ego Gaia
(This place)

She hummed to herself,
And curled her hair
(Ubi tu Gaius)
She smiled to her reflection
(Ego Gaia)

Honor rushed in, teary eyed.
"Ooh, you poor, poor thing.
You don't even know.
But how could you?
(How could you?)
There's been a mistake, madam.
There's been a change of plans."

"What's wrong- What's happened?"
"They tried, and tried.
But he couldn't be revived.
It was the fire, burning downtown
That took him from you.
I'm sorry."
She cried and cried.

Ooh, Ubi tu Gaius ego Gaia
(Wherever you are John Doe)
Ubi tu Gaius ego Gaia
(I am Mary Doe.)
Ubi tu Gaius
(Wherever you are John Doe)
Ego Gaia
(I am Mary Doe)
