A poem of how relationship can change for the worse...
I watch myself fall, no words to spare
I know how I got here, but it isn’t fair.

I try and try to make all ends meet
But every time it lands at my feet.

It’s up to me to pick up your slack,
To hoist it all high upon my back.

And being broken, you’ll find, won’t aid
To carry the load for which I’m bade.

I cannot keep this quiet too long
For I could never be that strong-

You’ve said you want an “even split”
But you’re not willing to commit.

So here I am, back to square one
I’ve let it all go, we’re finally done.
