I wrote this for my brother, Wayne, after a trip to the mountains.
The profound silence of the mountains

astounds the heart of man

Sounds of nature

absolute void

In amplified stillness,

blood runs deep

as winding mountain streams,

childhood themes,

artists' dreams

Misty morning melodies

come to mind...

poets' rhyme

echoes in time
