WRITTEN WHEN I WAS DEPRESSED
THE ROMANTIC SIDE TO OUR SUICIDE
Your cold, dead eyes tell my story of love,
Your pale, frosted skin explains the situation.
As hand in hand,
They stood side by side,
Wishing nothing more than just to die.
Together in hand,
They walk and cry
Because nothing, anymore,
Seems worth a try.
A blade,
A throat,
Some skin,
A treat.
Some people laugh,
For they got the beat.
From families and friends that don't compute,
To the words they shared of
"I love you's"
A rope was shared by their necks,
Forgetting the past,
The present,
And the rest.
If only they stood in a place well known.
A place to which they could call their own.
So they shall hang together,
In peace.
Forgetting everything
That meant even the least.
Underground they lie side by side,
People still ask the question "why?"
Why to which they were so alone
Even though they had eachother to hold.

MY MASK

This mask I wear
She serves me well
She hides my pain
So they can't tell

They see her smile
Never my tears
She shows no sorrow
She fights all my fears

They believe she is me
If only they knew
That she is my mask
And my savior too

My scars she hides
Behind laughter and lies
She says she is fine
As she slowly dies

DEATH
Above my feet
Below my chin
Beside my arms
Under my skin
Along my ribs
Across my neck
Throughout my head
This is Death
