Not giving in to the world
Caught in a whirlwind
life is a storm
Fighting for breath
I won't conform.

I will be free
or I will drown
My darkest fears
are hunting me down.

I can't see clear
but I feel the goal
It reaches out
and draws my soul

I'll stumble through
struggling until
I find what I want
what I have is will.

I might fall
and I might cry.
But you won't catch me
and I won't die.
