hay ride and halloween
Autumn Ride

The pumpkin face is carved,
With teeth and a wide grin,
A candle is lit and shining
Off it’s orange colored shell.

There’s a black cat afoot,
Creeping toward the barn lot,
Maybe it’s hunting for supper,
Up in the dusty hay loft.

The children are ready to go,
With the wagon filled with straw,
Take the gravel cemetery road,
‘Cause a hay ride needs a scare.

Don’t forget to bring some chili,
And hotdogs for our fall ride,
An autumn fest is great fun,
When done on All Hallows Eve.
