A Poem written during my time in prison about the women there serving life sentences
LIFER

FOREVER TORMENTS BROKEN SOULS

LAIN DEEP IN SHADOWED EYES

LOST IN THIS TWISTED HOUSE OF STEEL

COLD STONE AND RAZORED LIES....

DREAMS DUG DEEP IN SHATTERED HEARTS

DESPAIR HELD TIGHT IN HANDS OF GRAY...

DIVERSITY IS SWALLOWED

BY THE SAMENESS OF EACH DAY....

AND TOMORROW DAWNS BUT ONE MORE YESTERDAY...

AS DAYS... TURN INTO YEARS.... TURN INTO ...LIFETIMES....
