A new beginning
Alone to face fears,
consumed by hatred
behind eyes of gray.

Doubt taking the reigns,
forcing more fears while
every tear drop
gives into more pain,
imperatively
hiding from all truth.

Just before the fall,
love enters again
killing bitterness.

Memories dissolve
over blazing flames;
nostalgia near death,
painfully moaning -
roaring one last time
queasy all the while.

Stopping the madness,
utopia rules -
time to love again.

Vindicated of
xenophobia:
warns of future bliss.

Zealously
yearning.

*Note4* This was written using the Alpha Torqueo form that I created and was named by jknippa. It uses every letter of the alphabet with the first 24 kinda alternating, i.e.,
Line 1 begins with: A
Line 2 begins with: C
Line 3 begins with: B
Line 4 begins with: D
Line 5 begins with: F
Line 6 begins with: E
and so forth with the last two letters in reverse order.

Each line has a 5 syllable count except the last two, which combined, total five.

Please check out these amazing poems that use my new form:
