This poem is about people's struggle for perfection in life.
Perfection



Humans strive for perfection.

We sacrifice our loved ones, even ourselves

In order to obtain the flawlessness

Each one of us desire.



The sin of vanity has poisoned us;

Corrupting our innocent minds.

Our goal is superiority.

Our downfall is reality.



But how far would we go

To obtain this goal?

Blood is shed.

Lives are lost.



And we soon forget

That to gain perfection

We must accept the flaws

That God has given us.
