One day you look behind you and the meaning of a bad relationship changed.
The tide came in…….

One day I’ll feel my feet.
I walk on the sand
with thoughts of the last and but one.
Our footprints indent
wet sand through toes complete.

Backward glances reveal footsteps
that circle complete and retrace.
But now they have gone away.
The tide came in……..
And only the faintness of traces remain.
