short rhyming poem
Is this what you wanted?
To be all alone?
Left broken hearted.
A king without a throne.
Its a real shame.
You always meant more to me.
It took me months to learn your name.
Sadly, you were all I could see.
Can we take a walk?
Just you and me?
Can we have a talk?
About who we're meant to be?
People can look and they can stare
I never will be ashamed of you
And I'll continue on in the winter air
just like we always do
I'll find my way home in the dark
Or will I wait for the sun to rise?
I'll wait for the singing of a lark
And the opening of my eyes
And if I see you there
I'll wrap my arms around you
And if I don't, I won't care
Because I will always love you
And know, you are everywhere.
