This is a short poem I wrote and ends with my most favorite line that I have written.
I'm just flirting with a girl,
I mean just sitting and wishing,
plenty been talkin to lately,
but this one's special edition.
Spending these pennies for my thoughts,
like I'm investing in this girl's college tuition.
But I bet my last two cents,
when I tell her I'm a lyricist,
talking past tense was never my intention.
But the direction of this text to give a rosier complexion,
to the one inspiration who knows who she is, simply by intuition.
If I stammered or stuttered thoughts or confused the situation,
I apologize, sometimes I get lost in my lyrics like I got a bad sense of direction.
