The effects of being addicted to love.
He’s my brand of heroin,
He’s my kind of drug,
He stops my heart,
And rips the air from my lungs.

He doesn’t know,
He doesn’t care,
But in my head,
He’s always there.

I don’t know how,
I don’t know why,
But I can’t lose him,
He’s the sparkle in my eye.

How do I get through this,
How do I make him stay,
What will I do,
What’s the price I’ll pay.

I look at him,
Day after day,
And soon I find,
I can’t look away.

He looks at me,
And my heart starts to flutter,
As he steps closer,
It stops with a stutter.

He’s my brand of heroin,
He’s my kind of drug,
He stops my heart,
And rips the air from my lungs.

Now that he’s here,
We’ll always be together,
I’ll be his,
And he’ll be mine forever.
