This is the only world we have. We must help our defenseless planet. We are its only enemy
I am the wind tugging on your hair
Willing you to look, begging you to care.
Stand up for me where as others don't dare.
Open your eyes, said I.

You are the one assaulting my trunk.
My forest, my being, all in all has shrunk.
While you sleep soundly in your bunk,
Silently crying am I.

Like lightning flooding the cold night sky
Possessing terra firma, flames growing high,
Nature, myself, I am doomed to die
All of these things am I.
