something I wrote and was published over ten years ago....
Innocent, yet a sensual appearance to belie the fact,
an irresistable combination, nature made the pact.

Admirers were many but lovers were few,
only caused them to want her more, her reputation grew.

She was often described as a mans great love,
a little taste of paradise, a reminder from above.

Many men tried to keep her, a prize they thought they'd claimed,
but like a roving gipsy she couldn't be contained.

Men never seemed to realise that she was a free soul,
They'd never ever tame her or ever have control.

Her soulmate was out there somewhere, someone who knew love was the key,
until she met that man breaking hearts she'd be
